RB5009UPr+S+IN
RB5009UPr+S+IN
An updated model of our well-liked heavy-duty RB5009 router that supports PoE on all ports. perfect for medium-sized and smaller ISPs. many powering choices, 10 Gigabit SFP+ and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet.
The Gigabit Ethernet, 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, and a 10 Gigabit SFP+ cage for fiber connectivity are all present and correct in this iteration of the RB5009. The durability, power, and speed are all present. But this time, all eight Ethernet ports now feature PoE-in and PoE-out capabilities. You have 10 different ways to power the device when the 2-pin connection and the DC jack are used together. Normally, having two redundant power supply would significantly increase your uptime. RB5009UPr+S+IN goes one step farther than that!
Up to 25W of power can be supplied by each PoE-out connection.
The overall power of all the ports is just 130W, which should be plenty for the majority of installations. If required, you can manually set the maximum power your power sources will provide. The new RB5009 can compete with our venerable PoE switches, CRS354 & CRS328, in terms of PoE-out functionality. at the most competitive price and in the smallest form-factor imaginable!
Protect your peace of mind and your uptime!
What what occurs then if one of your power sources has a problem? A fast illustration would be that you have 57V on the PoE-in, 48V on the 2-pin connection, and 24V on the DC jack. The PoE-in input, which has the greatest voltage, powers the board itself. In the event of an issue, the 2-pin connection, which has the second-highest voltage, will be used by the RB5009. In case that doesn’t work, the DC jack’s 24V alternative is available.
How about PoE-out gadgets? The greatest voltage triumphs once more. PoE-out devices will use the 48V source on the 2-pin connection to obtain power. If it doesn’t work, the 24V on the DC jack kicks in.
