It is run by SwOS, a customized operating system for MikroTik Switch devices.
SwOS may be customized via a web browser. It offers more than just the essential features of a controlled switch: allows for the management of port-to-port forwarding, the use of MAC filters, the configuration of VLANs, the mirroring of traffic, the use of bandwidth limitations, and even the adjusting of specific MAC and IP header data.
